From a quiet start in the round robin stage, our Minor Ladies have burst out of their group into the Championship SemiFinal.

The Pats girls knew going into it that this game was do-or-die. Tonight’s captain Rachel Herlihy led the girls so well from the warm-up. The theme of mentors Mark Beirne & Johnny Sheridan - with help tonight from the perennial Peter Lee - has always been one of positivity & effort and this radiated through the squad with good vibes rippling from keeper to forwards. There was an air of excitement from the first whistle and our girls rose to every challenge posed on the pitch cheered on by the Pats Roar.

This minor squad was put together at the end of the summer and has been backed up by our intrepid U16s who’ve bolstered the numbers and boosted squad morale.

We’ll play Whitehall in the SemiFinal on Saturday 16h00 at St Aidan’s CBS.
