Sports Capital Grant success

The Club has learned that we have been successful in our application for funding from the Sports Capital Grant for the full amount of €150,000!

This will mean the construction of a fantastic, brand new All-Weather facility will begin in due haste with work hopefully completed over the 2018 season.

This is another stunning success on the part of our Finance Committee so enormous credit must go to Alan Merriman, Brian McGrath & Felim McAllister.

The silent, thankless and often invisible work these men do on all our behalf is breathtaking. It should never be taken for granted; this is a painstaking process and I speak for the wider membership in expressing our deepest thanks to all three for seeing this application through to a successful conclusion.

The work done to secure this funding would not have been possible without the able assistance of Downey Planning & Michael J Kennedy Solicitors, we extend our sincerest thanks to them for all their efforts in helping to make this possible.

This is the next phase of development in Ballymastone which will result in the campus becoming a state of the art facility, the envy of clubs across the country, safeguarding our facilities into the future for the next generation of players and families coming through. It is a landmark day in the Club’s history.

Finally we also thank all public representatives for their help in making this dream a reality.

A great day in the life of St Pats GAA Club!
Many thanks again.
